The Fat Snax Guide to a Dee-lish Dad's Day Dinner

Father's Day is a meaningful day for our company. Not very many people know this, but Fat Snax actually wouldn't exist if our founder Jeff wasn't a dad! Confused? We'll let him explain...

"Fat Snax exists because I’m a father. Before there was Fat Snax, there were Josie (5 years old), Brooke (3 years old) and pregnant mama of yet-to-be-named Vivian (-5 months old).

Up until 2016, I was working in software for big media companies in NYC. However, my jobs meant nothing to me, while my family meant everything! I wasn't in control of my own time, which was preventing me from sharing as many beautiful moments with my family as I wanted to. I knew that the only way I was going to be in charge of my own time was to work for myself, and thus began the journey that lead to Fat Snax.

Long story short, I quit my job and got to work figuring out what I could do that would let me be in charge of my own time and not miss any moments with my kids. I had been keto for a few years by then, and I was always bothered by the lack of fun, great tasting snacks! Then one day, it hit me: I was going to make the world's best keto cookies.

I worked on my cookie recipes for months, and after what seemed like thousands of tests, I thought that I'd cracked the code. However, when I gave the test cookies to my kids, they thought they were gross! Back to the drawing board...

After MANY more iterations, and with my kids' feedback, the cookie recipes that you know and love were born, and so was Fat Snax."
