Can you believe it’s already 2022?! Still haven’t made any New Year’s resolutions? Check out our list of health related resolutions we’ve come up with for you! Following these resolutions can not only help guide you on your keto journey, but also your journeys to self-love, confidence, and living a happy life. We hope we can help 2022 be the year that you experience the most self-growth, happiness, and positivity! Happy New Year!
It’s been two years into the pandemic and we’re still spending the majority of our time at home, doing most things remote or virtual! You might as well take advantage of all this time at home by making homemade meals! Cooking recipes at home is not only fun, but also beneficial to your health. When cooking, you are in control of how much salt, fat, and other ingredients you are putting into the food you will be eating. Make 2022 the year you cook more and try new keto recipes! Visit this page for some recipe inspo!
If you’re following along with the first resolution of cooking more, you’re going to have to make this resolution also a priority! The grocery store is the home of all ingredients and keto goodies! During your grocery shopping trip, stop by the keto or protein bar section to find our Fat Snax! Click here to find the closest grocery store with our snax near you!
Exercise activities do not have to consist of going to the gym or track. Try engaging in different activities that get your body moving and make you happy! Whether it’s weightlifting at the gym, running on the track, taking dance class, doing pilates, doing yoga, rock climbing, going on hikes, taking your dog out on walks, or playing a sport, make sure that you enjoy doing it! Nothing’s worse than hating the exercise activity you engage in and losing motivation the more you do it!
Make sure that during your keto journey, you’re looking at keto as a lifestyle rather than a diet. Rather than focusing on trying to lose, gain, or maintain your weight, learn to love and accept the weight you’re already at! Dieting, restricting yourself, and creating food rules are all short-term and can negatively affect your mental, emotional, and physical health. That said, we want you to have a positive relationship with eating keto! Fat yeah!
Make 2022 the year that you love and take care of yourself! Some examples of self-care consist of telling yourself affirmations (ex: I am capable of doing anything I set my mind to, I am worthy, I can reach my dreams), taking a break off social media, meditating, reading a book, creating art, cooking, baking, or even buying yourself keto treats (some Fat Snax)! You should put yourself first over anyone else because at the end of the day, you need to learn to love yourself before you love anyone else.
